Quick answer
Stake Zoo is an in-house multiplayer Stake game: you bet on up to six animals on a 20-tile track, then three animals appear and set the payouts. Stake sets its RTP at 98%, a 2% house edge. The Lion and the Cheetah, on one tile each, are the most rewarding animals, and the max win is 1,000x.

Zoo’s circular track has 20 tiles shared by six animals: the Penguin fills 10, half the track, and the Lion and the Cheetah one each. Stake says your chances change with the number of tiles an animal fills, which makes those two the most rewarding.
Each animal has its own multiplier, shown in the Pay Table, and Stake lists a max win of 1,000x. Zoo’s game page does not say how the three animals in the centre turn into a payout, so open the Pay Table before you bet. Any win is also capped by Stake’s maximum profit per bet.
Stake lists one RTP for Zoo, 98%, with no figure per animal. Over a long run of rounds that is about $2 kept for every $100 wagered. From Bronze VIP ($10,000 wagered), or from sign-up with code BONUSTIIME once Stake support activates it, Stake’s rakeback returns 3.5% of that edge, about 7 cents per $100.
Slide, another multiplayer Original, also runs at 98% RTP. Stake describes Zoo as a mix of live dealer games, Roulette and Sic Bo: our Roulette page covers the Stake Original, at 97.30% RTP. To compare every Original, see our house edge table.
An average cost per $100 wagered, not a fee on each bet.
| Edge | Cost | After rakeback |
|---|---|---|
| 2% | $2.00 | $1.93 |
| Animal | Tiles | Share of the track |
|---|---|---|
| Lion | 1 | 5% |
| Cheetah | 1 | 5% |
| Elephant | 2 | 10% |
| Crocodile | 2 | 10% |
| Rhino | 4 | 20% |
| Penguin | 10 | 50% |

The animals you back set your swing. The Penguin, on half the track, gives you better chances; the Lion and the Cheetah, on one tile each, are rarer and more rewarding. Backing several animals spreads your Total Bet, and no mix of animals beats the house edge.
Doubling your bet after each loss (Martingale) does not change the edge. It makes losing runs more expensive, and it stops at Stake’s maximum bet and maximum profit per bet.

Stake says every Zoo outcome is unpredictable and fair, thanks to provably fair technology. Zoo is multiplayer, so a round’s three animals are the same for every player, drawn from a salted hash chain set in advance. Your bets change what you win, never which animals appear.

Check Stake's terms for how Originals count toward wagering. The €30 needs a €20 deposit, so it is not a no deposit bonus.
No. Each round has one result, the same for every player in it, and it comes from Stake's salted hash chain, not from the bets on the board. Stake runs Zoo on provably fair technology, so past rounds can be checked.
Stake lists Zoo's RTP at 98%, which leaves a 2% house edge. Over many rounds that is about $2 kept per $100 wagered. Zoo's game page gives one figure for the game, not one per animal.
Stake lists Zoo's max win at 1,000x. Its game page does not say which bets or results reach it: the Pay Table in the game shows what each animal pays. Any win is also capped by Stake's maximum profit per bet, which depends on your currency, so on a large bet that cap comes first.
Six, on a 20-tile track: the Penguin fills 10 tiles, the Rhino 4, the Elephant and the Crocodile 2 each, and the Lion and the Cheetah one each. You can back up to six of them in a round, and three animals appear at the end of it.
Yes. Stake calls it a multiplayer game: every player places bets at the same time, during the same 10-second window, and the round's three animals appear for everyone. Each player chooses their own animals and chips, so two players in one round can win different amounts.
None beats the house edge. Backing the Penguin, on 10 of the 20 tiles, gives you better chances; the Lion and the Cheetah, on one tile each, are long shots that Stake calls the most rewarding. Pick the swing your budget can take and set a loss limit first.
