What Is Stake Crash?
Quick answer
Stake Crash is an in-house multiplayer Stake game. A multiplier climbs from 1.00x and crashes at a random point, the same for every player. Cash out before the crash to win your bet times the multiplier. Stake sets its RTP at 99%, a 1% house edge. Cashing out later pays more, up to 1,000,000x, but succeeds less often.

How to Play Crash on Stake
- Open Crash from the Stake Originals lobby. Rounds run back to back, with a betting window of roughly five seconds between them.
- In Manual, enter your Bet Amount in the currency you hold. The ½ and 2× buttons halve or double it.
- Set Cashout At, your optional auto cashout target, for example 2x. Profit on Win shows the estimated profit before you confirm the bet.
- Place your bet in that window. The multiplier then climbs from 1.00x: cash out before it crashes to win your bet times the multiplier reached, or lose the bet.
- If the multiplier reaches your Cashout At target, your bet cashes out there automatically.
- To bet on a series of rounds, switch to Auto and set the number of rounds, with optional stop-on-profit and stop-on-loss limits.
Crash Payouts: Cashout Targets and Odds
Your payout is your bet times the multiplier when you cash out: a $10 bet cashed out at 2x returns $20, and a crash before that loses the $10. Stake says every round has a 99% return to player. If that holds at every target, your chance of reaching a target is 99% divided by it: 49.5% for 2x, 9.9% for 10x. The table below is our calculation on that basis; Stake’s Crash page does not list these odds.
Over a long run of rounds, the 1% house edge comes to about $1 kept for every $100 wagered. From Bronze VIP ($10,000 wagered), or from sign-up with code BONUSTIIME once Stake support activates it, Stake’s rakeback returns 3.5% of that edge, about 3.5 cents per $100. Your target changes how often you win and how much, not that edge.
Stake lists the max win at 1,000,000x your bet, though any win is also capped by Stake’s maximum profit per bet. A live leaderboard shows the round’s bets and cashouts as they happen, but other players’ cashouts have no effect on where it crashes.

Crash Strategy: What You Can Control
You control

- A loss limit and a time limit, set before you start
You don’t control
- Where the multiplier crashes in each round
- The house edge, the same at every target
- Streaks: a crash at 1.05x says nothing about the next round
No cashout target beats the edge, and no method can predict where the multiplier will stop. Stake’s own tips: choose your cashout point before the round begins, not while the multiplier climbs, pick a target you can stick to, and do not change it because of a previous round.
Doubling your bet after each loss (Martingale) does not change the edge. It makes losing runs more expensive, and it stops at Stake’s maximum bet and maximum profit per bet. In Auto, treat stop-on-profit and stop-on-loss as budget limits, not forecasts.

How to Check a Crash Round
Crash runs on a salted hash chain. Each round gets one result, built from a server seed, a client seed and a cryptographic hash, and every player shares it.
- Before a round begins, note the hashed server seed Stake publishes for it.
- After the round, Stake reveals the server seed behind that hash.
- Hash the revealed seed, check it matches the one you noted, then recompute the round’s crash point.

Is Stake Crash Rigged?
No. Each round has one crash point, shared by every player, and Stake publishes the hash of its server seed in advance. After the round, Stake reveals the seed, so you can check it against that hash and recompute where the multiplier stopped. Stake cannot change the result once the round has begun.
What Is the RTP of Stake Crash?
Stake lists Crash's RTP at 99%, which leaves a 1% house edge, whatever cashout target you choose. Over many rounds that is about $1 kept per $100 wagered.
What Is the Max Win on Stake Crash?
Stake lists Crash's max win at 1,000,000x your bet. Any win is also capped by Stake's maximum profit per bet, which depends on your currency. At 1,000,000x, that cap can come first even on a bet of a few dollars.
How Often Does Stake Crash Reach 2x?
About half the time, by our calculation. If Stake's 99% RTP holds at every target, the chance of reaching one is 99% divided by the target: 49.5% for 2x, or about 49.5 rounds in 100. For 100x it falls to 0.99%, about once in 101 rounds.
Do All Players See the Same Crash Point?
Yes. Crash is multiplayer: everyone watches the same multiplier rise, and the live leaderboard shows active bets and cashouts as they happen. Each player picks their own cashout, so two players in the same round can win different amounts, or one can win while the other loses.
What Does Cashout at Do in Crash?
It is your auto cashout target. If the multiplier reaches it, your bet cashes out at that value; if the round crashes first, the bet is lost. You can set it in Manual before each round. Auto is a separate tab that plays a series of rounds for you.
