What Is Stake Drill?

Stake Drill is an in-house Stake game: you set a Target Multiplier, choose one of three drills and watch the multiplier climb as they descend. If your drill climbs past the target, you win; a higher target is harder to reach. Stake sets its RTP at 98%, a 2% house edge, and lists a top win of 2,000,000x.

How to Play Drill on Stake
- Open Drill from the Stake Originals lobby. Manual mode plays one bet at a time.
- Enter your Bet Amount in the currency you hold. The ½ and 2× buttons halve or double it.
- Set the Target Multiplier. Win Chance shows your chance of winning at that target, and Profit on Win shows what a win would add to your bet.
- Choose one of the three drills and press Bet.
- The drills descend and the multiplier climbs. If your drill climbs past your target, you win; if it stops below the target, you lose your bet.
- To play a run of bets with the same settings, switch to Auto before you start.
Drill Targets, Win Chance and Payouts
In Drill, the Target Multiplier decides whether a bet wins. The multiplier only climbs as the drills descend, so a drill that stops at 10x has passed 2x on the way: a higher target is never easier to reach than a lower one.
Stake’s Drill page does not list the win chance or the profit for each target, so we do not print a table of them here: Win Chance and Profit on Win show both in the bet panel before you press Bet. Stake lists the maximum win at 2,000,000x your bet.
Stake lists a single RTP for Drill: 98%. Over a long run of bets that is about $2 kept for every $100 wagered. From Bronze VIP ($10,000 wagered), or from sign-up with code BONUSTIIME once Stake support activates it, Stake’s rakeback returns 3.5% of that edge, about 7 cents per $100. On Stake’s figures, the target you choose changes how often you win, not the edge you pay.

Drill Strategy: What You Can Control
You control
- Your bet size and how many bets you play
- The Target Multiplier: the higher it is, the rarer the win
- A loss limit and a time limit, set before you start
You don’t control
- Where the drills stop: every result is random
- The house edge, built into every bet
- Streaks: the last result has no effect on the next
Picking a drill can feel like a skill. Stake, though, publishes one RTP for the whole game and no separate figure for any of the three drills, so on its own numbers no drill pays back more than another. Switching drills or sticking with one does not change the edge.
Doubling your bet after each loss (Martingale) does not change the edge either. After ten losses in a row, your next bet would be 1,024 times your first. It makes losing runs more expensive, and it stops at Stake’s maximum bet and maximum profit per bet.

How to Check a Drill Bet
Drill turns your seeds into random numbers, and those numbers set where the drills stop. Whether your bet wins then depends on how far your drill climbs compared with your Target Multiplier.
- Before you play, open the game’s fairness settings and note the hashed server seed.
- After your session, rotate your seed: Stake reveals the old server seed.
- Hash it, compare it with the one you noted, then replay any bet with your client seed and nonce.

Is Stake Drill Rigged?
No. Where the drills stop comes from your client seed, Stake's server seed and the nonce. Stake shows the server seed's hash first, so once the seed is revealed you can replay any Drill bet and get the same result.

What Is the Max Win on Stake Drill?
