How to Play Cases on Stake
- Open Cases from the Stake Originals lobby. On the Manual tab, each bet opens one case.
- Enter your Bet Amount in the currency you hold. The ½ and 2× buttons halve or double it.
- Set the Difficulty, Stake’s risk setting: Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert.
- Press Bet to open the case. The single reel inside spins for a few seconds and stops on one multiplier tile, which pays your bet times its value.
- For a series, open the Auto tab and set the number of rounds. Auto Bet can also stop on a profit or a loss.
Cases Difficulty, Multipliers and Payouts
Each round is one case and one reel. The reel is filled with multiplier tiles, and the tile it stops on sets your payout. Stake’s game page does not list the tiles at each Difficulty or how often they land, so there is no payout table here.
Difficulty decides what the reel holds. Stake says each of the four levels changes the volatility, the size of the possible multipliers and how they are spread. It lists 10,000x your bet as the max win for Cases, but its game page does not say which Difficulty offers it.
Stake lists a single RTP for Cases: 98%. That figure alone shows that some tiles must pay less than your bet. If every tile paid 1x or more, no case could return less than your bet, and the average return could not fall below 100%.
Over a long run of cases, the 2% house edge means about $2 kept for every $100 wagered. From Bronze VIP ($10,000 wagered), or from sign-up with code BONUSTIIME once Stake support activates it, Stake’s rakeback returns 3.5% of that edge, about 7 cents per $100.

Cases Strategy: What You Can Control

- The tile the reel stops on: every case is random
- The house edge, built into the multipliers
- Streaks: the last case has no effect on the next
Doubling your bet after each loss (Martingale) does not change the edge. Auto Bet can raise your bet by a set percentage after a loss, but that only makes losing runs more expensive, and it stops at Stake’s maximum bet and maximum profit per bet.
Difficulty changes how far your results swing, and Stake gives no separate RTP for any level. Set your limits first, then pick the level whose losing runs you can sit through.

How to Check a Cases Round
On Cases, Stake turns an HMAC-SHA256 hash of your seeds and the nonce into the tile the reel stops on. The few seconds of spin only reveal that tile, and the tile sets the multiplier.
- Before you play, open Fairness in the game and note the hashed server seed.
- After your session, rotate your seed: Stake reveals the old server seed.
- Hash it, compare it with the one you noted, then replay any case with your client seed and nonce.

Is Stake Cases Rigged?
No. The tile the reel stops on comes from your client seed, Stake's server seed and the nonce, so the spin only shows a result that is already set. Stake shows the hashed server seed first, and you can replay any case once the seed is revealed.
