Lab Breach Slot Features

Lab Breach combines cascading wins, multiplier patches, merging and mutation, free spins, and feature buys into a laboratory-themed cluster game with evolving board state and bonus modes.

Grid & How You Win

Lab Breach runs on a 7×7 board where you need 5 or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically. Diagonal symbols do not count. Winning symbols clear, new ones tumble in, and cascades continue until no further cluster appears.

Special Symbols

Two special symbols drive the round flow. CB – Containment Breach Alarm opens the bonus when 3, 4, or 5 land. MV – Mutagen Vial only appears in bonus play, mutates an unmutated patch of at least 3 cells before payouts, or acts as a wild symbol otherwise.

Patches & Multiplier Growth

Every winning cluster leaves patches behind on the cleared cells. Each patch shares one multiplier across its footprint and pays using the value already present before the win resolves. After payment, touched normal patches increase by the cluster size, while bonus patches stay active through free spins.

Merging & Mutation

Patches merge only when their footprints overlap, not when they merely touch edges. A merge creates one shared multiplier value from the combined patches. Mutation changes future growth from additive to doubling and lifts the cap to 2,500x, which gives the board more room to build value over time.

Free Spins & Bonus Modes

Exactly 3 CB scatters on a bonus spin award 5 extra free spins after cascades finish. The active bonus mode stays in place, and retriggers can happen again. Bonus modes start with different patch setups and spin counts, so each one changes the opening board state.

• Breach: 3 CB or Buy Breach, 10 free spins, empty patch board.
• Containment Failure: 4 CB or Buy Containment Failure, 10 free spins, two patches up to 3x each.
• Total Collapse: 5 CB or Buy Total Collapse, 12 free spins, two patches up to 10x each.
• Unknown Sample: up to 6 CB or buy Unknown Sample, 10 free spins, reveals a bonus with a chance to trigger Live Specimen.

Feature Buys & Ante

This buy menu lets players purchase bonus access or lift bonus-entry chances. Breach, Containment Failure, and Total Collapse can also trigger naturally, but the direct buys guarantee their entry and start the round under standard rules.

• Total Collapse: x1000 the bet; guarantees Total Collapse.

Lab Breach Slot Review

Lab Breach leans into a cartoon laboratory look with glowing slime, hazard stripes and a busy industrial backdrop that gives the board a clear identity. The real hook is the mutation idea, where patches grow across the grid instead of simply sitting there as decoration.

The Cluster Pays structure and 7×7 board keep the action compact, but the patch system adds real texture because every win changes later value. High volatility and the 20,000x ceiling fit the design well, although the buy options and layered bonus modes put the game in a very specific lane.

Lab Breach suits players who want a mechanic driven slot rather than a simple feature chase. The best fit is anyone who likes board progression, retrigger potential and a clear escalation path through patches and bonus modes. The depth is there, but the game still feels niche.
