Close Shave Lx by Tonistrike Slot Overview

Close Shave Lx by Tonistrike pairs a vintage barbershop with cartoon customers and gold detailing. Its scatter payouts share a pay-anywhere element with Candy Blitz, but here the Barber Pole also substitutes on paylines, while selected customers grow across reels during Full Moon.

Pomade gives Full Moon its progression: each expanding spin advances a persistent multiplier that boosts every feature win. Selected customers fill qualifying reels and pay across every line, even without adjacent reels. High volatility shapes the experience. Explore the free demo on BonusTiime.

Close Shave Lx Slot Features

Close Shave Lx combines Barber Pole symbols, Next in Line page turns, Full Moon free spins, and a layered bonus buy setup that changes feature frequency and growth effects.

Barber Pole

The Barber Pole works as both Wild and Scatter. It substitutes for paying symbols on a line, but a line made only of Barber Poles does not pay, and three or more anywhere pay as scatter and start Full Moon. Its scatter paytable awards 3, 4, or 5 matches with x2, x20, or x200.

Next in Line

Next in Line appears in about 36% of base spins. When the book turns a page, it marks one paying symbol, places a x2 badge on every cell of that symbol, and doubles every line win for that symbol in that spin.

Full Moon

Full Moon begins when 3 or more Barber Pole symbols land anywhere. It awards 10 free spins, while 4+ Barber Pole symbols trigger Hair of the Dog with 10 free spins too. At the start the book picks the Overgrown customer, two different ones in Hair of the Dog, and it stays for the whole round. It fills every reel it lands on once it reaches enough reels to pay, 2 for high customers and 3 for A to 10. Pomade climbs one step on every spin that expands, from x1 to x2, x3, x5 and x10, never falls back, and multiplies every Full Moon win. Full Moon starts once in about 286 base spins, 87 with Quick Trim and 33 with Hot Towel.

Bonus Buy

The buy menu holds five one-time buys and two bet modes that stay on for every spin until you switch them off, and every feature asks for confirmation first.

• One Snip: x150 the bet; one spin where the pole picks a high customer who grows over the reels.
• Full Moon: x100 the bet; 10 free spins with one Overgrown customer.
• Hair of the Dog: x300 the bet; 10 free spins with two Overgrown customers.
• Surprise Style: x200 the bet; 69% Full Moon, 31% Hair of the Dog.
• The Works: x1,000 the bet; 10 free spins, a high customer grows over, and Pomade starts at x3.
• Quick Trim: x2 the bet per spin; Full Moon starts about 3.3x as often.
• Hot Towel: x5 the bet per spin; more Barber Poles, and Full Moon starts about 8.6x as often.

Close Shave Lx Slot Review

Close Shave Lx builds its identity around a barbershop setting, but the real hook is the way the Barber Pole drives both line wins and scatter progress. The dark, gold framed presentation supports the mechanics rather than carrying the slot on style alone, which keeps the theme grounded.

The best part is the Next in Line page turn, because it can double a selected symbol’s line wins in ordinary spins, while Full Moon stretches the feature with growing symbols and Pomade progression. High volatility and the 100,000x ceiling give the maths real ambition, but the buy menu also shows how much the game leans on paid access.

Close Shave Lx offers direct access to Full Moon, Hair of the Dog, and The Works through feature buying, but the published RTP is the same as for base play. The design has structure and a proper mechanic stack, yet the game still feels built around controlled escalation rather than broad variety.
