Eternal Fire Beat Fnatic to Win Stake Ranked Episode 5

Eternal Fire Take the Title

Eternal Fire won the Stake Ranked Episode 5 LAN Main Event on 30 October 2026, beating fnatic 3-2 in the grand final after trailing 0-2, according to HLTV. Stake’s esports account announced the team as champions at 20:40 UTC that day. The tournament had a $100,000 prize pool, and HLTV’s event page lists $25,000 for first place.

Stake Esports said a spot at the Singapore Major came down to one final matchup, fnatic against Eternal Fire, shown on kick.com/starladder. Eternal Fire had reached that final earlier in the day, while MIBR’s run ended in the Consolidation Final.

How the Final Played Out

Fnatic dominated Ancient, where Dmytro ‘jambo’ Semera recorded his highest ever career HLTV rating on LAN, leaving Eternal Fire in an all-or-nothing position. Eternal Fire then recovered. HLTV credits Samet ‘jottAAA’ Köklü, who finished with a 1.21 series rating, and notes a lower bracket run that included wins over Nemesis, BIG, Astralis and MIBR.

The esports event ran from 27 to 30 October 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, with eight teams. Beyond the $25,000 for Eternal Fire, fnatic received $17,500 for second place, MIBR $13,500 for third and Astralis $11,000 for fourth, per the HLTV event page. Coverage of the run to the final is in our Stake Ranked Episode 5 report.

What It Means for the Major Race

HLTV reports that Eternal Fire’s chance of Major qualification rose to 87.9% from less than 5% a week earlier, after the team won its third tournament in a month and a half. Fnatic fell to 17.5%. Only five teams remain in the running for the three remaining Major spots in Europe.

Eternal Fire CEO Furkan Güven said on X: “I can’t really put my feelings into words. It truly feels like a dream,” as HLTV reported. In the VRS standings, Eternal Fire gained 104 points to reach 1513 and rose to #22, while fnatic gained 75 to reach 1487 and moved to #25.

HLTV states that placements were taken just after the last match and may change as other events conclude.
