Treasures of Kilauea 3 WildSurge Slot Features

WildSurge, UpZones LockNWin, Lohihi LockNWin, bonus gamble, and Win Booster shape the action in Treasures of Kilauea 3 WildSurge, with bonus buys that let you jump straight into selected feature modes.

WildSurge

WildSurge triggers when a WildSurge symbol lands. It unlocks new WildSurge features at the end of the spin, creating fiery zones where all symbols turn wild. The game starts with the first two features unlocked, and each new unlock expands the mechanic’s reach.

• Standard WildSurge: no additional feature.
• Double WildSurge: adds an extra WildSurge symbol and creates a fiery zone.
• No Low WildSurge: removes all low-value symbols.
• Wild Stack WildSurge: converts 1-3 reels with wilds into wild stacks.
• Respin WildSurge: locks wilds and winning combinations, then respins.
• Multiplier WildSurge: upgrades wilds into X2-X51 multiplier wilds.
• Adjacent WildSurge: picks 1-2 wild positions and turns every position next to them wild.
• Wild Row WildSurge: converts 1-2 rows with wilds into wild rows.
• Wild Cross WildSurge: converts 1-2 row and column combinations into wild stacks.
• Infinity WildSurge: turns all symbols into wilds.

Lohihi LockNWin Feature

This feature awards 3 respins. Fireball symbols and Jackpot coins can land during it, and each landing resets the counter back to 3. The round ends when the respins run out or the reels fill, making it a compact hold-and-respin bonus with static jackpot collection.

UpZones LockNWin Feature

UpZones LockNWin plays on an expanded 5 reels x 8 rows layout and starts with 4 active rows. Landing symbols in active rows unlocks extra rows from bottom to top, while UpZones positions add top-row effects. It finishes when all positions fill or spins run out.

• Super Bonus: 3 Spins, 3 UpZones.
• Supreme Bonus: 4 Spins, 4 UpZones.
• Ultra Bonus: 5 Spins, 5 UpZones.
• Ultimate Bonus: 6 Spins, 6 UpZones.

Top Row Features

Top-row effects apply only to unlocked rows, and any symbol landing in UpZones spins the top row. These top-row effects shape the bonus flow by collecting fireballs, boosting them, multiplying them, or extending spin count. Jackpot coins do not receive top-row effects.

• Collect: collects all fireballs.
• Boost: increases all fireballs by 1X – 25X bet.
• Multiplier: multiplies a random fireball by X2 – X50.
• Spin: awards 2 to 3 additional spins.
• Lohihitastic zone star: creates a Lohihitastic zone with a booster value of 4x to 25x, raised by every extra star up to 150X.

Bonus Gamble

Bonus Gamble is available after a bonus pot triggers, except for Ultimate Bonus. You can choose Play to start the feature or Gamble to chase a higher tier on a wheel with green and red sectors. A green result upgrades the bonus, while a red result pays nothing and returns you to the base game.

Win Booster

Win Booster becomes available only after all WildSurge features are unlocked. It stays active until you switch it off, it increases WildSurge trigger frequency by 10X, and it runs in the base game only. Its price is listed with the other buy options below.

Buy Feature

This feature lets you purchase selected bonus modes directly from the base game. Mystery Bonus awards a random UpZones LockNWin feature, while Ultimate Bonus awards the Ultimate UpZones LockNWin feature directly.

• Mystery Bonus: x50 the bet; awards one of four UpZones LockNWin features at random.
• Ultimate Bonus: x100 the bet; awards the Ultimate UpZones LockNWin feature, 6 spins with 6 UpZones.
• Win Booster: x10 the bet per spin; multiplies WildSurge trigger frequency by 10.

Treasures of Kilauea 3 WildSurge Slot Review

Treasures of Kilauea 3 WildSurge leans hard into a lava and tiki identity, with bright volcanic colours, carved masks and a bold arcade-style interface. The theme works because the art matches the mechanics: fiery zones, wild conversions and jackpot coins all reinforce the same hot, eruptive idea rather than sitting on top of it.

The main strength is the WildSurge system, because it keeps unlocking new transformations instead of relying on one bonus mode. That gives the slot more texture than a basic 5 reel 4 row release, while the high volatility and 25,000x cap keep the stakes pointed towards bigger swings rather than steady returns.

Treasures of Kilauea 3 WildSurge unlocks additional WildSurge features through play, while bonus buys provide direct access to UpZones LockNWin features. The game still feels tightly built around its bonus engine, though, so the base game does not carry as much weight on its own. The top row mechanics keep it interesting, but the design stays specialised rather than broad.
