Loco Llama Slot Demo by Hexreel

Loco Llama by Hexreel Slot Overview

Loco Llama by Hexreel pairs a colourful cartoon railway with a goggle-wearing llama and mountain scenery. Its wild multipliers connect it with 5 Lions Megaways 2, but here a locomotive converts crates into wild wagons and uses their numbers to increase the multiplier.

The Train stays in place during Free Spins, while crates increase the persistent multiplier and award extra spins. High volatility accompanies a maximum win of 50,000x the bet. Explore these mechanics in the free demo on BonusTiime, with no deposit or account needed.

Loco Llama Slot Specifications

Loco Llama runs on a 5×4 grid with 40 fixed paylines: a line pays for 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols starting from the leftmost reel, and only the highest win on each line counts. The house edge sits at 3.50%, which keeps the maths transparent for online slot gameplay.

RTP (Return to Player)

The 96.50% RTP keeps returns competitive, while the 3.50% house edge shows a balanced setup.

Volatility

High volatility means bigger swings and slower momentum, so stake sizing matters across sessions.

Max Win

The 50,000x cap means a €1 spin can reach €50,000.

Loco Llama Slot Features

The Train, Free Spins, Bonus Chance, and Buy Bonus shape Loco Llama’s online slot gameplay, with a locomotive-driven wild system, persistent bonus progression, adjustable activation chances, and direct bonus purchases.

The Train

When the locomotive lands on reel 5, it loads every crate on the screen. Each crate becomes a wild wagon behind the locomotive on its row, then the wagons replace the symbols beneath them. Crates land on reels 1 to 4 and carry a number from +1 to +25: the train multiplier starts at x1 and every loaded crate adds its number to it, so all line wins of that spin are multiplied by the final value. Without a locomotive, crates do nothing. A wagon substitutes for every paying symbol, and a line made only of wilds pays the same as the sun mask.

Free Spins

Three, four, or five scatters start Free Spins. The train stays on its row for the whole bonus, and its positions stay wild on every spin. Three scatters give 5 free spins and add one wagon per spin. Four scatters give 10 free spins with the full train. Five scatters give 10 free spins with the full train and a starting multiplier of x3 to x8. A crate that lands during the bonus adds its number to the train multiplier for the rest of the round and awards 1 more free spin, while scatters and locomotives do not land during the free spins.

Bonus Chance

Bonus Chance is the ante bet switch beside the reels, and the same two modes sit in the bonus menu. It turns on Double Chance or Bonus Hunt, stays on until it is switched off, and no bonus can be bought while it is on. Free spins started this way win a little less on average than free spins triggered in the base game.

Buy Bonus

Buy Bonus opens the bonus menu and lets you purchase Free Spins or stronger starting setups on the next spin.

• Free Spins: x100 the bet; starts with 3 scatters.
• Super Spins: x400 the bet; starts with 4 scatters and the full train.
• Epic Spins: x1000 the bet; starts with 5 scatters and a starting multiplier.
• Double Chance: x1.5 the bet per spin; free spins start twice as often and the mode stays on until you switch it off, with free spins worth 116x the bet on average against 121x in the base game.
• Bonus Hunt: x3 the bet per spin; free spins start 5 times as often and the mode stays on until you switch it off, with free spins worth 113x the bet on average against 121x in the base game.

Loco Llama Slot Review

Loco Llama wraps its Andean railway theme in bright cartoon art, but the real identity comes from the crate loaded train and the llama sitting in the locomotive. The mountain station setting, bold symbols and colour rich menus give it a playful look without hiding the mechanical focus on wild wagons and crates.

The strongest part is the train system, because base-game crates only matter when the locomotive lands on reel 5. That creates a clear trigger based game rather than constant background noise, and the persistent Free Spins setup adds proper progression. High volatility keeps the base game from feeling too busy between hits.

Loco Llama offers direct access to Free Spins, Super Spins and Epic Spins through bonus buys. The 50,000x cap gives it room, but the feature set leans on one central idea, so the slot works best when the train mechanic is doing the heavy lifting.
