Pay4Fun Casino Payments in 2026: The Wallet Has Closed
Pay4Fun shut its consumer wallet on 17 February 2025, so no casino deposit or withdrawal can go through a Pay4Fun account any more. The firm behind it is still an authorised payment institution in Brazil, yet its betting payments stopped when Brazil outlawed fixed-odds betting.
If a casino cashier still shows the Pay4Fun logo, treat it as a relic of that closure and fund your account with a method that settles in euros, held in your own name.

Pay4Fun Has Closed: What Happened
The Pay4Fun consumer account closed on 17 February 2025. In the FAQ on p4f.com, the operator wrote that as of that date “the Pay4Fun digital account will be discontinued”, the app would leave the online stores and the “open account” function would go with it. So no Pay4Fun casino deposit or payout can pass through a Pay4Fun account.
The company behind the wallet has not disappeared: Pay4Fun is still a payment institution authorised by the Central Bank of Brazil. What it kept in gambling, processing payments for licensed Brazilian betting operators, has been barred since 25 September 2026, when Provisional Measure 1.394 banned fixed-odds betting (article 1) and forbade payment institutions to process any bet (article 14), a block that Central Bank Resolution 590 ordered them to apply.
Can You Still Withdraw a Pay4Fun Balance?
Not through the app or a casino cashier. Pay4Fun asked holders to withdraw their balance by 17 February 2025, and account access ended after that date. If money was still in your wallet, the only way to claim it is to write to the Pay4Fun team at contato@p4f.com, the address on its home page. Accounts with nothing in them were closed automatically, with no step needed on your side.
Money left on a Brazilian betting site is a separate case. Since 25 September 2026, no new funds may enter the transactional accounts of betting platforms; players could take their money out voluntarily until 23h59 on 5 October 2026, and the sites and apps went offline from 6 October 2026. Whatever remains is returned to each player by the financial institutions, with Caixa Econômica Federal acting as intermediary when a bank cannot complete the refund.
Why Casinos Still List Pay4Fun
The Pay4Fun casinos you still find in lists are leftovers: comparison sites and cashier logos were not all updated when the wallet closed, so a list of casinos that accept Pay4Fun is simply out of date. A badge in a cashier is not proof that the route works. If a cashier still shows Pay4Fun, choose another method there, such as a bank transfer to a casino.
The name also stayed visible because Pay4Fun kept working for businesses after the consumer account had gone. Its home page still presents it as a solution for iGaming and entertainment, its merchant site markets a gateway called Pay4Fun GO, and on 25 August 2026 a betting operator, MeridianBet, chose Pay4Fun as its payment institution for Brazil’s regulated fixed-odds market. That operator role is how Pay4Fun stayed in Brazilian cashiers, until the ban of 25 September 2026 ended it as well.
How Pay4Fun Deposits and Payouts Worked
Pay4Fun, founded in 2018, sat between players and partner websites as a Brazilian payment institution. While it ran, a casino payment followed three steps:
- At the casino cashier, you picked Pay4Fun and paid through its gateway without leaving the operator’s website.
- The money was collected in Brazilian reais by boleto, credit card or online banking, which covered regular bank transfers and Pix.
- Payouts and refunds went out from the operator’s Pay4Fun business account, and the operator was settled abroad.
Pay4Fun Fees, Limits and Timing
There are no Pay4Fun fees, limits or processing times you can still check. The operator’s terms page returns an error and its help centre opens only after a sign-in, so the fee, minimum, maximum and speed figures that casino lists keep repeating have no published source behind them. Treat them as out of date. The one stable point is the currency: the wallet worked in Brazilian reais.
Pay4Fun Safety and Regulation
Pay4Fun is a regulated company, and that status says nothing about a casino route:
- The Central Bank of Brazil register lists Pay4Fun Instituição de Pagamento S.A. as a payment institution, authorised and in activity.
- The company is based in São Paulo, under the Brazilian company number (CNPJ) 20.757.199/0001-04.
- Pay4Fun calls itself the first payment institution in the entertainment and sports betting sector to be authorised by the Central Bank, and says it is committed to full compliance with the rules.
- The authorisation covers the company, not a gambling payment, so it gives no cover to a casino that still offers Pay4Fun.
- Your own bank statements are the record of any past Pay4Fun payment; keep them if a balance is still in question.
What Pay4Fun Means for Euro Players
If you play in euros, you lose nothing with Pay4Fun, because it never offered you a route. It was a Brazilian institution whose merchant site addressed businesses targeting Brazil, and Brazil’s ban also reaches operators based abroad that offer bets to people in Brazil, so an offshore casino brings no way round it from Ireland or anywhere else in the euro area.
Pay instead with a euro method held in your own name: a SEPA transfer, an instant bank transfer from your bank, or a Visa debit card. If you prefer an e-wallet or a voucher, the options under Pay4Fun Alternatives also take euros.
Pay4Fun Pros and Cons
What Pay4Fun once did well no longer outweighs what it lacks for you:
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Built around local payment routes in Brazil | Served the Brazilian market only |
| Backed by a firm with Central Bank approval | Brazilian reais only |
| Players paid without leaving the casino site | No consumer account since February 2025 |
| Payouts and refunds came from the operator’s account | Gambling payments barred since 25 September 2026 |
| None that still applies | The end of the service outweighs every former strength |
Pay4Fun Alternatives
These run in euros, and each sets its own gambling terms, worth reading before your first deposit.
| Method | Type | What to check first |
|---|---|---|
| Skrill | E-wallet | Its terms rule out illegal or unlicensed gambling |
| Neteller | E-wallet | Issued by the same Paysafe company as Skrill |
| PayPal | E-wallet | Only casinos that PayPal has approved can take it |
| Paysafecard | Prepaid voucher | Needs a paysafecard account for casinos; a code alone is refused |
| Apple Pay | Mobile wallet | Use a debit card in it, since the card’s own rules still apply |
Pay4Fun Casino FAQs
Is Pay4Fun finished for good?
The consumer wallet is; the company is not. Pay4Fun keeps its website and blog running and has announced no return of the account. The betting ban rests on a provisional measure that the Brazilian Congress still has to approve, and its last recorded stage there was awaiting amendments, so its outcome is open.
Why did Pay4Fun close its digital account?
Pay4Fun has not said. Its notice sets out what happened to the app, new accounts and balances, but gives no reason for the decision.
What is Pix via Pay4Fun?
It was a Pix payment made in a Brazilian betting cashier and handled by Pay4Fun as the operator’s payment institution, not a payment from a Pay4Fun wallet. The ban of 25 September 2026 closed that route too.
Can I still log in or sign up to Pay4Fun?
No to both. The sign-up and account-opening pages no longer load, and existing accounts are closed. Writing to Pay4Fun is all that is left.
How do I contact or complain to Pay4Fun?
The home page lists three channels: email, the SAC customer line on 0800 940 0068 on weekdays from 9am to 6pm, and an ombudsman line. To file a complaint with the ombudsman, you first need the protocol number the SAC gave you.
