Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
Player ratings and reviews help other players decide whether a slot is worth their time. These guidelines explain what you can post, how moderation works, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Who Writes Reviews
Ratings and reviews on BonusTiime come from registered members aged 18 or over. BonusTiime never writes or edits a review on a member’s behalf.
Please rate and review only games you have tried, and describe your own experience honestly. We do not systematically check that a member has actually played the slot they review, at BonusTiime or anywhere else. A review is one player’s personal opinion, not a test by BonusTiime. Our own analysis appears separately as the BonusTiime Score.
We never ask for positive reviews.
What a Good Review Looks Like
- Positive and negative opinions are both welcome. A low score with an honest explanation is as useful as a high one, and a severe review can be published as long as it follows these guidelines.
- Talk about the game: the bonus round, how often features land, volatility, max win, visuals, sound, how it plays on mobile.
- Share your experience, not a promise. Results on slots are random: what happened in your session may not happen in the next one.
- Write in English, between 20 and 1,000 characters. You can also leave a rating without any text.
- Choose up to three tags that sum up the game for you.
Strong words about a game are fine: “the base game is boring”, “this bonus is a nightmare to trigger”, or more colourful language about the game itself, can be published after moderation.
What Is Not Allowed
Some content is refused as soon as you try to post it. Other content is removed during moderation.
- Attacks on people. Criticise the game as much as you like, but not other players, streamers, developers, our moderators or anyone else. No insults aimed at a person, no mockery of other reviewers.
- Degrading insults, even about a game (for example slurs based on disability, sex or sexuality).
- Hate. Content that attacks people for their origin, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age. It is refused immediately and never reaches our moderation queue.
- Threats and harassment, including telling someone to harm themselves.
- Anything involving minors in a sexual context, and any illegal content.
- Unsupported accusations against a company or a person, such as calling a provider a scam without any facts. Accusations are always reviewed by a member of our team before anything is published.
- Personal information: email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, real names of other people, account details or screenshots that show them.
- Advertising: links, referral or promo codes, invitations to private groups (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp and similar), or reviews written to promote a casino, a streamer or a service.
- Cheat claims and false promises: “predictors”, “hacks”, “guaranteed wins” or strategies presented as a sure way to win.
- Fake or coordinated reviews: rating a game you have not tried, reviewing on behalf of someone else, using several accounts, or organising groups to push a score up or down.
- Off-topic content: reviews that do not describe the game, or that copy another review.
How Moderation Works
- A rating without text counts straight away in the Player Score.
- Every written review is read by a member of our team before it appears. While it is waiting, it is not public and your rating does not count yet. Once the review is approved, your rating counts.
- Some content is refused automatically while you type or when you submit it: hate, threats, attacks on people, degrading insults, and reviews not written in English. Nothing is saved, and you can rephrase. These automatic checks run on our own servers.
- A person decides to publish or refuse every saved review and reply, and every sanction is decided by a person.
- When a review is reported for serious harm, it may be hidden automatically while a person checks it.
- If a review is not published, we tell you why on the game page, in English, using a fixed list of reasons. When the reason is minor (for example a link, or a review that is off-topic), you can edit it, keep your rating without text, or remove it.
- You can edit or remove your rating and review at any time from the game page. An edited review is checked again before the new version appears.
Helpful Votes
If a review helped you, mark it as Helpful. You can mark each review once, and you can remove your vote at any time. You cannot mark your own review.
Helpful votes are about usefulness, not agreement: a well-argued negative review can be very helpful. They never change the Player Score. The Most Helpful order only uses real votes, and we check for coordinated voting.
Replies
You can reply to a published review to share your own experience or add useful detail. Replies are between 10 and 500 characters, in English, and there is one level of discussion: you reply to a review, not to another reply.
Replies follow the same rules as reviews. Every reply is read by a member of our team before it appears; until then, only you can see it. Criticise games, not people.
Official Studio Representatives
Some game studios take part in discussions. Their replies show a Verified Studio badge and the name of the studio they represent. We verify each representative manually before the badge appears, and we can remove it at any time.
Studio representatives cannot rate games, cannot mark reviews as helpful and have no moderation powers. Their replies are moderated like everyone else’s. A studio cannot remove or edit your review: you are always free to post an honest negative review, even when the studio takes part in the discussion.
Usernames that could be mistaken for a game studio or an official role are not allowed.
Reporting a Review
If you think a published review breaks these guidelines, use Report under the review and choose a reason: threat or violence, hate or harassment, personal information, illegal content, spam or advertising, off-topic or fake review.
Reports are confidential: the author is not told who reported them. Every report is handled by a member of our team. For the most serious reasons, a review may be hidden while our team looks at it. Members who repeatedly report reviews in bad faith may see their reports carry less weight.
You can report a reply in the same way, with the Report button under it.
If Things Go Wrong: Sanctions
Depending on how serious and how frequent the problem is, our team may:
- refuse or remove a review;
- remove a rating from the Player Score (for example for fake or coordinated ratings);
- send a warning;
- suspend your ability to rate and review for a set number of days;
- permanently remove your ability to rate and review.
Every sanction is decided by a person, with a reason from a fixed list, and you will see it on the site.
Appeals
If you think a decision was wrong, contact us through the chat on BonusTiime and tell us which review or rating it concerns. A member of our team will look at it again. If we got it wrong, we restore your review or rating.
Privacy
Next to your review we show your display name and the year you joined (for example “Member since 2024”). We never show your email address or your account details. Please choose a display name that does not include your real name or other personal information. If a display name looks like an email address or a phone number, could be offensive, or could be mistaken for our team, we show “Member” instead.
To protect ratings against fraud, we keep technical information about how a rating was submitted (for example a scrambled network identifier, never shown publicly). More details are in our Privacy Policy.
If Gambling Stops Being Fun
If you are worried about your gambling, you are not alone and help is free and confidential. We will never sanction anyone for telling us they are struggling. Messages like this are read first by our team, and are not published.
