How to compare slots with our slot comparison tool
Our slot comparison tool puts up to three online slots in the same table, so you can see how they differ before you play. No account and no download are needed.
- Pick your first slot. Type its name in the first column: suggestions appear after two letters.
- Add one or two more slots. The comparison starts as soon as two games are selected, and a third column is available if you want to go further.
- Read the table. Each line compares one characteristic. When a value can be ranked, such as a higher RTP or a bigger max win, the best one is marked Best.
- Share or come back later. The page address updates with your selection, so you can copy the link. Your recent comparisons are listed under the tool.
What the slot comparison covers
The comparison groups the numbers that actually change your experience of a slot:
- RTP (Return to Player): the share of all stakes a slot is designed to pay back over millions of spins. A 96.5% RTP means 96.50 returned for every 100 wagered in the long run, never on a single session.
- Volatility: how wins are spread. Low volatility pays small wins often; high volatility pays less often but can land much bigger wins. Browse our low volatility slots and high volatility slots to see both profiles.
- Max win: the biggest payout the game allows, expressed as a multiple of your bet. A 5,000x max win on a 1 € bet caps at 5,000 €.
- Bet range: the minimum and maximum stake per spin, useful to check a slot fits your budget.
- House edge: the mirror of RTP, the share kept by the game over time, when the provider publishes it.
- Gameplay: grid, paylines or ways to win, bonus buy, free spins, gamble feature, autoplay and mobile support.
- Ratings: the BonusTiime score from our reviews, the score given by players, and an industry score averaging independent review sites.
- Verified math: for games built on Stake Engine, the official RTP, max win and odds of hitting the max win, taken from the math that Stake Engine makes public for every game.
How to read a slot comparison
Numbers only make sense together. Two slots can share the same RTP and still feel completely different: the one with the higher volatility and bigger max win will have longer dry spells and rarer, larger hits.
Look at the max win together with its odds when they are available. A huge max win that lands once in tens of millions of spins matters less for a normal session than the volatility of the base game.
A higher RTP is better over a very large number of spins, but it does not protect a single session. If you want to stretch a bankroll, compare RTP first, then volatility; if you chase big multipliers, compare max win and volatility, and look at our high RTP slots and bonus buy slots.

Where the data comes from
Game specifications (RTP, volatility, max win, bet range and features) come from our slot reviews. Verified math is read from the public Stake Engine API for the games built on that platform. The BonusTiime score comes from our review team, the player score from votes on our slot pages, and the industry score from independent review sites.
Some providers release the same game in several RTP versions and each casino chooses which one to offer. Always check the RTP shown in the game information at your casino before playing.
Slot comparison FAQ
Is the slot comparison tool free?
Yes. The tool is free, requires no account and no download, and works on mobile, tablet and desktop.
How many slots can I compare at once?
You can compare two or three slots side by side. The comparison appears as soon as two slots are selected.
Is a higher RTP always better?
Over a very large number of spins, a higher RTP returns more of your stakes. On a single session, volatility has a much bigger effect on your results, so compare both before choosing a slot.
What does “Best” mean in the table?
It marks the most favorable value of a line when values can be ranked: the higher RTP, the bigger max win, the lower minimum bet. It is not shown for characteristics that depend on your taste, such as volatility or themes.
What is verified Stake Engine math?
For slots built on Stake Engine, the math of the game is public: RTP, max win and the odds of reaching it for each bet mode. We read these figures from the Stake Engine API instead of relying on marketing material. They only appear for games built on that platform.
Are my comparisons saved?
Yes. Your recent comparisons are listed under the tool. They are kept in your browser, or in your BonusTiime account when you are signed in, so you find them on all your devices.
Why is the RTP different at my casino?
Many providers offer several RTP versions of the same slot and let each casino choose which one to run. The value in our table is the one listed in our review of the game; the game information at your casino shows the version it actually runs.
Slots are games of chance: RTP and max win describe the long run, not what will happen in a session. Play only with money you can afford to lose. 18+.
