John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen by Pragmatic Play Slot Overview

John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen by Pragmatic Play follows directly after the previous John Hunter adventure, John Hunter and the Quest for Bermuda Riches, but centres its own treasure hunt on an Egyptian tomb and a cowboy explorer. Golden columns, hieroglyphic walls and jewel-like symbols give this instalment its ornate visual style.

Super Spin Ante Bet lets you preselect an expanding symbol for base-game spins at x10 the bet per spin. Medium volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x the bet complete the setup. Try the free demo on BonusTiime without an account or deposit.

John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen Slot Features

John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen combines base-game wins, Super Spin Ante Bet, Free Spins, and Buy Free Spins, with the Book symbol acting as both Scatter and Wild.

Super Spin Ante Bet

Super Spin Ante Bet makes every base game spin play like a Free Spins spin when you switch it on. It costs 10 times the bet on every spin, and you choose a special expanding symbol before play starts; symbol wins are then paid on the base bet, not the 10x increase. That symbol expands vertically during each spin and pays anywhere on the reels.

Free Spins

Hit 3 or more Book symbols anywhere on the reels to trigger Free Spins. The game awards 10 free spins, and you choose a special expanding symbol before the round begins. During the feature, that symbol expands vertically after regular symbol payouts and pays anywhere.

Retriggers

Free Spins can retrigger when 3 or more Book symbols land during the feature. Each retrigger adds 10 more free spins and keeps the current special expanding symbol active. The rules place no limit on retriggers, so the bonus can continue as long as Book symbols keep appearing.

Buy Free Spins

This buy feature lets you purchase the Free Spins round directly.

• Buy Free Spins: x100 the bet; instantly starts Free Spins with 10 spins.

John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen Slot Review

John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen wraps its Egyptian tomb setting around a cowboy explorer, so the identity leans more treasure hunt than pure temple mystery. The gilded frame, carved columns and bright symbol art create a polished look, but the theme depends heavily on familiar book imagery and standard character ranks.

The main draw is the Super Spin Ante Bet, which turns every spin into a paid feature style round at x10 the bet, with a chosen expanding symbol. That gives the gameplay a clear hook, yet the 5,000x cap and medium volatility keep the action in familiar territory rather than pushing it further.

John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen works best when viewed as a straightforward book style slot with a slight twist, not a big mechanical leap. The free spins feature and unlimited retriggers add some staying power, but the overall package still rewards patience more than experimentation.
